The West End Home Foundation has announced grant awards in the amount of $1.9 million for 2023. Thirty-nine nonprofit organizations that serve older adults in Middle Tennessee will receive grant payments in early January.

Each year, grant requests far surpass the amount of funding available. According to Dianne Oliver, Executive Director, “the service demands on agencies that deliver programs for older adults are increasing and will continue to increase as our population age 60+ grows. We are very fortunate in Middle Tennessee to have such a robust network of nonprofits committed to ensuring access to high quality, innovative and affordable services that promote successful aging.”

Funding in 2023 is targeted to seven key impact areas:
